Recent Events

Paul and Janine presented Meet OSKAR: Coaching with a Solutions Focus, at the 2007 International Appreciative Inquiry Conference in Orlando, Florida. This approach was received enthusiastically as a contribution to a wave of positive approaches to change - and there was some great dialogue between the SF team and Martin Seligman (of Positive Psychology fame) and David Cooperrider (a leader of the AI community).

Paul was a member of the panel conversation on “Next Steps in Solution Focused Approaches”, alongside Bill O'Connell (Author and founder member of the UKASFP), Rayya Ghul (OT/Higher education) and John Wheeler (Child protection/S/Work/Families), at The 4th National UK Association for Solutions Focus Practitioners (UKASFP) Conference & AGM, 15-16 June 2007, Keele University.

Paul and Janine presented the pre-conference workshop “Improv - How to gain the edge as a coach” at the Applied Improv Network Europe, Helsinki, 7th-10th June 2007.

Paul Z Jackson and Janine Waldman of The Solutions Focus presented Creating And Structuring Your Strategic Message for the London HR Connection Members' Development Event: Raising Your Profile as an HR Professional. Wednesday 6th June 2007

 

Coaching Skills Workshop - 1 day with the CIPD

2 April 2008, Mill Green Golf Club, Welwyn Garden City, Herts, AL7 4TY.

The Solutions Focus joins forces with Hertfordshire CIPD to run a
one-day coaching skills workshop, suitable for HR professionals, general
managers or consultants who want to re-energise their coaching skills
and add some new techniques to their personal coaching tool-kit.

It is also targeted at those who want to introduce a programme of
coaching into their organisation or to revitalize and maximize the
impact of an existing scheme.
